Welcome New Year

Here is the lyrics I wrote thinking of a holiday . Not exactly a short story but a significant piece of work because I did get to go to spain within a month of writing this!

stroke my hair and kiss my eyes
caresses my cheeks and bake me pies

lets soar into the skies and leave the grind
let’s leave the boring
And just go soaring
let’s go in search
of a restful perch
come its new year, time to celebrate
to rest and refresh and to rejuvenate
come lets go bungee jumping
and go chasing a duckling
let’s swim and get wet in rain
let’s go cycling down the plain
Come let’s just fly and leave the world far behind
Lets soar into the skies and leave the grind
Let’s leave the boring
And just go soaring
Let’s go in search
